New here? Welcome!
Welcome to Silver Lake Christian Community Church
We understand that visiting a new church can feel uncertain. Our hope is that you will feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment you arrive. Silver Lake Church is a friendly, close-knit community where people come together to worship God, grow in faith, and encourage one another in love.
At Silver Lake Church, our worship is centered on God’s Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a Reformed church, we believe that Scripture is our highest authority and the foundation for everything we do. Each Sunday we gather to worship God, hear His Word preached, pray together, and grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. We are the Church with the big front porch!

Children are an important part of our church family. During the service there is a brief children's message, after which children are invited to attend Sunday School for age-appropriate teaching while the sermon continues in the sanctuary.
After the service each Sunday, we gather and enjoy a sweet or savory snack and cup of coffee. It's a great time to relax, enjoy a bite, and connect with one another.
If you're visiting for the first time, please know there is always plenty, and we would love to share a cup of coffee and get to know you!
Our Sunday service typically lasts about 60–75 minutes. During that time we:
- Sing and Pray – Worshiping God through hymns and prayer.
- Confess Our Faith – At times we recite historic Christian statements of faith that unite believers across generations.
- Hear God's Word – The sermon is centered on the clear, careful exposition of Scripture.
Communion – We celebrate the Lord's Supper once each month, remembering Christ's sacrifice and the grace we have in Him.
We are very much a "come as you are" type of church. Many people dress casually—jeans and t-shirts are common—while others prefer something a bit more formal. Either way, you'll fit right in. We care far more about you being here than what you're wearing.
